The communication strategy of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy is based on the following axes, which were taken into account during the implementation of the individual communication actions/activities:
• Highlighting the role and contribution of the Ministry’s policies to the general public and the competent bodies.
• Informing citizens about the actions and projects of the individual Ministry Directorates and their impact on the protection of the environment and the citizens’ quality of life.
• Maintaining the single character of the strategy, so that there is coherence and relevance in communication.
• Formation of a single identity for the promotion of the Ministry’s actions, so that it becomes distinct and recognisable to the general public as a single set of interventions aimed at sustainable development.
• Using simple methods, such as narration and giving examples, so that the public can more easily and effectively understand the relevant concepts, the objectives set and the actions planned.
• Use of simple and approachable wording, so that communication actions are more understandable by all citizens. The purpose of the Communication Strategy is to maximise the effectiveness of the message to the individual target audiences, but also to connect all these groups of audiences with the Ministry.
